LGC Report using Solar Analytics Data

Solar Analytics Smart Monitor has been declared to meets the recommended standards for the measurement of TLEG, AUX, and FSL under the general formula provided under Regulation 14 of the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001 for the measurement of electricity flows less than 750MWh per annum (approximately 500kWp Solar PV system depending on location, tilt, and orientation of the system).

(Attached is the copy of the statement.) 2018.12 Solar Analytics LGC statement V1.pdf

The statement above applies to all of our SC-23 and KR-63 or Wattwatchers’ A3R and A6M hardware.

These LGC approved data comes in as 5-minute interval data that can be downloaded from the Data Download page on the Fleet Dashboard. Make sure you have the correct user access type. If not, please contact us.

For CER formatreports,

TLEG (generation in kWh)

To convert Energy Generated (Wh) in Detailed Data to TLEG, resample the 5-min data to 15-min and

  • I the value is positive, divide it by 1000 to convert it to kWh.
  • If the value is negative, put it as zero.

AUX (sum of negative values for the time period in kWh)

Similar to TLEG, rsample the data to 15-min and

  • If the value is positive, put it as zero.
  • If the value is negative, we divide it by 1000 to convert it to kWh.

If you require further information for a different format or any other clarification, we suggest you to contact Clean Energy Regulator (CER) this way you can double check on the requirement for LGC reporting submission.
