Auto Connect with Solar Analytics

Auto Connect allows us to automatically connect your Sungrow, Fronius Goodwe, GE Solar and LG inverters to Solar Analytics.

How it Works

**STEP 1:**Sign up to Auto Connect here  and give us your preferences. Pricing available here.

This form will ask you the following details:

1. Admin details: Details of firstname, lastname, phone number and Company name
2. Provide your company ABN details
3. Whether you have a Solar Analytics fleet (if no, we will create one for you)
4. Provide an email address for receiving site notifications
5. Check which Auto Connect options that you prefer: (please choose one)
   • Solar Analytics will provide me with the list of customers who have been contacted
   • Solar Analytics will provide the list one day before contact and you will inform if any customers are to be excluded
   • Solar Analytics will provide the list and you will need to give explicit approval before customers are contacted
6. Batch of customers is completed weekly and Solar Analytics will contact you at the email you provided.
7. Choose which preferred subscription option you would like to sign up your customers:
   • 1 year paid by you (Solar Analytics will invoice you for each new site)
   • 5 years paid by you (Solar Analytics will invoice you for each new site)
   • 10 years paid by you (Solar Analytics will invoice you for each new site)
8. Please upload a copy of your standard solar system quotation pdf.
9. If you do have further questions, feel free to fill include it in the specified field.
10. Specify the type of inverters you would like to Auto Connect:
    • Fronius
    • Sungrow
    • Goodwe
    • GE Solar
    • LG
11. Provide your consent to giving permission to Solar Analytics to Auto Connect new sites with the opted process.
12. Click Submit

**Step 2:**Solar Analytics will then process your request according to the your opted preferences. Our Sales Team will reach out to contact details provided to ask for the login credentials of the inverters that you would like to Auto Connect.

Step 3: After providing the login credentials, Solar Analytics will check sites that are online and have consumption meter. Solar Analytics will also follow the process that you preferred based on the preference you have selected:

1. Solar Analytics will provide me with the list of customers who have been contacted,
2. Solar Analytics will provide the list one day before contact and you will inform if any customers are to be excluded
3. Solar Analytics will provide the list and you will need to give explicit approval before customers are contacted

Solar Analytics will either provide you with the list after being contacted or before contacted.

Step 4: Solar Analytics will send out an opt-in email for customers about what Solar Analytics offer and whether customers would like to opt-in and use Solar Analytics. When a customer has opted-in, Solar Analytics will then register the site also based on the retailer’s preferred subscription and will invoice the retailer. 

Note: You can cancel Auto Connect at anytime and your customers are under no obligation to renew when their free trial ends.

• What is Auto Connect?
  • Auto Connect is the newest offer from Solar Analytics which allows you to give all of your integrated customers Solar Analytics without any of the work to create a new site.
• How does Solar Analytics and Auto Connect benefit a solar retailer’s business?
  • Auto Connect saves retailers time and money by automating site commissioning and reduces the chance of data entry errors. It can be done automatically every time, in retrospect or by end users.
• How can I try it before sharing my login?
  • If you would like to try it on a couple of sites before signing up, simply email our team at sales@solaranalytics.com and they help you try it before sharing your login.
• What will you be sending to my customers?
  • If you choose the option to inform your customers of our offer in the sale process, we will automatically sign up your customers to Solar Analytics. As part of this process, your customers will receive:
    • An email from their inverter app informing them that their site has been shared with Solar Analytics
    • An email from Solar Analytics to activate their dashboard login
    • An onboarding email each week with tips on how to get the most out of Solar Analytics
  • If you choose to let us inform your customers, we will send your customers one email informing them of the offer, and then a follow up reminder if they do not opt-in. They will then only be signed up to Solar Analytics (and receive emails above) if they choose to opt-in.
  • In all cases, customers can unsubscribe from communications with Solar Analytics should they wish.
• Are other subscription options available instead of 30-days free?
  • Yes, you can choose to provide your customers with a prepaid subscription for 1-year, 5-years or 10-years. We will invoice you after each batch of new sites is completed.
  • If you choose a prepaid subscription option, we will assume you have discussed this with your customer and will directly provide them with their login.
• What is the benefit to the solar owner?

• What is the cost?
  • The cost to you is nothing (unless you would like to pay for subscriptions for your customers). Each of your customers will get a 30-day free trial after which they will need to pay for a subscription. See our prices here .
